Discovery Heritage Roadshow

Sat. June 16, 2007
11:00 am - 4:00 pm

Have you ever watched the Antiques Roadshow on CBC or PBS and said I have something like that in my attic, living room or closet, I wonder how old it is? When was it made? What is it made from? and How much is it worth? Well wonder no more. The Trinity Historical Society is planning on holding its own version of the Roadshow on Saturday June 16, 2007.

For a small fee of $5.00 per person, age 12 years and under will be admitted FREE, you can bring along your item or items and have our experts help you discover the answers to your questions. We will have experts in the following categories: clothing, tapestries, quilts, paintings, stamps, books, jewellery and furniture to name just a few. Further details on the event and our experts will be made available later in April. There will also be conservators present who can offer you advice on the proper handling, storage and long-term care of your keepsake.

So dust off any items that you may have and bring them along with you on Saturday, June 16. Even if you do not have anything for our experts to look at and you are curious about the event it will be worth dropping by for a look, as you will never know what you may discover.

For more information on the event please contact us at 464-3599 or ttci@nf.sympatico.ca and be sure and check out our website
