A Poetry Reading in Trinity
featuring The Workshop For Publishing Poets with Barbara Helfgott Hyett
Since 1982 poets have been gathering at the home of Barbara Helfgott Hyett in Brookline, Massachusetts to critique one another's new work and to study contemporary poetry. Each weekly session provides intensive critical analysis in a supportive atmosphere as poets work towards finely honed, completed poems.
The workshops also function as a publishing network for its members who have published hundreds of poems, produced and published twenty-seven books, and won various awards and fellowships. The workshop also conducts regular public readings which showcase its members. Please visit the Workshop website at www.PoemWorks.com
The Workshop for Publishing Poets is writing abroad in Trinity, Newfoundland. Eight poets will read their work for the public.
Please come hear the poetry of:
Barbara Helfgott Hyett, Ayelet Amittay, Debi Ellman,
